"Melted Frequencies" by Nate Schwinghammer

A blackwork-inspired illustration blending music, emotion, and decay into a single distorted form. Merging the silhouette of an electric guitar with a vintage microphone, the piece explores the raw energy of live music, creative burnout, obsession, and emotional release through dripping ink, aggressive contrast, and handcrafted linework. Influenced by underground music culture, tattoo aesthetics, and engraved blackwork illustration, the design was created to feel loud, imperfect, and emotionally charged, like sound bleeding into physical form.
